Binalot Review

Welcome to my first ever (first nga ba, sorry po di ko ma remember, pero ang alam ko first 'to, hehe, engot lang) food review! :)

Last October 15, a holiday, my husband and I went to the malls (yes, malls!) because we were so bored at home. Knowing the lakwatsero spirit whispering in our ears, we heeded its call.

We went to SM Marikina first, to window shop. We just decided to go back to Robinson's Metroeast to eat lunch there because we could not decide where to eat. I did not want to eat at Jollibee or McDonald's or KFC that time. We passed by Charlie Chicken, but there was nobody eating and I asked myself why (baka di masarap?)  So went back, as I said, to Robinson's Metroeast (there are actually three malls much nearer to our place than SM Marikina, SM Masinag, Sta Lucia, and Robinsons ewan ko ba bakit yung mas malayo pa yung napili namin) and decided to just eat at Binalot.

It was actually our second time there, nagustuhan ni jowa ang foodash kasi lutong bahay lang ang peg kaya bumelaks kami! Maliit lang ang place as you can see at very Filipino sya.

Eto ang inorder namin, as you can see nakabalot sya sa recycled paper then sa dahon ng saging  -  Pork Sinigang kay jowa, at Sisig naman for me, isang drinks lang inorder namin mahal kasi P25 din, medyo malaki yung size ng rice kaya nakuntento nako sa isa saka diet din ;p

Photo above is the sinigang P85 with rice, well ang say ko lang kalasa lang din sya ng usual na sinigang na niluto natin sa bahay, feeling ko nga kaya nyo pang gumawa ng mas masarap pa dito, pero okay na rin sya, malambot ang meat at okay din yun veggies saka di super asim.

This is the sisig, my order for P80 with rice na rin. As you can see may sunny side up na bumida. :)

As to the overall surrounding of the place, okay siya, malinis, walang langaw flying freely inside, hindi malagkit ang floor at tables, saka ang taray ng mga wall decorations. Pati chairs and tables very Filipiniana ang dating, parang gusto ko tuloy mag suot ng terno sa loob, hahaha!

At eto pa, natuwa ako sa banderitas, feeling ko fiesta minus the madaming tao, that time kasi mga 3 group including us lang ang kumakain. Hmm I wonder why?
