Flashback Friday: Happy 6th!

Today in 2007 was my wedding day. It was the happiest wedding I have ever been to :) and I think I was most beautiful that day! Lol!  It was a very simple wedding. So simple that when I tell you how much we spent you would not believe it. Yet, it was one of the happiest moment of my life - the day I married my best friend.

He was my first and last boyfriend. I actually thought that I was going to become either a spinster or a nun. But he came to my life and apparently I am not destined to become either of the two. Our love story is a very typical one, but to me it's the best I have ever known.  We met at work, started out as friends, he became my best friend, and then after two years became Mr and Mrs.

Back to our simple wedding, we planned to have very few guests but since my husband is a very friendly person, out list came up with one hundred people all in all. And there were gate crashers, something I did not expect! Lol, have anybody here experienced the same?

It was just the two of us who did everything to organize the wedding, with a little help from other people as well (and I appreciate those help). My husband was actually sick the day of the wedding because he was more tired than I was. We were both working full time so we had to really find time to do everything. I'm sure you couples out there who did not have a wedding planner understand the stress involved in this. Lesson learned: do not hesitate to ask for help! :)
